I’m Back!

Back from a long nap. Thanks for waiting, readers. Y’all are the best!

And I’ve gotta note that much has happened! Life keeps chugging along. I can’t imagine all that’s in store for me—and family—in the next couple months.

Things I’ll note that have occurred:

• I got a graphic design job to design the case for an audiobook dramatization for “The Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens That’s a big deal for me because this is the first time I’ll design graphics for a classical work.

• I’ve just co-signed an agreement to write a novel with my brother, Nathaniel. The work has just started so it’ll be a few months before there’s anything to show for it, and we plan to publish it and have it available in the fall of 2009.

• My baby girl has been growing. By my estimation she is a full +15 pounds, and sweeter than ever.

• I’m getting officially transferred at work into the web department. 70% of what I do is already for the web so now we’re accepting it.

About the Macbook

I absolutely love the Macbook. It is the best computer that Apple has come out with to date. I think there’s little more I could ask for. Note: people that are upset for the lack of firewire need to keep up with the times. There is no reason Apple should accommodate this outdated technology for the few that still have older electronics that use firewire. If these people can’t afford to replace the other equipment in question than they really can’t afford the new Macbook.

About the Holidays

It already feels like the holidays are upon us! I’m not really ready for it, and yet, I’m really looking forward to having an excuse to enjoy life more. I’m trying to do that. I feel like most of the year I’ve been taking life too seriously. It’s high time to lighten up.
